Where on the Willamette? Near the Columbia or ? Do they catch them regularly as far up as Corvallis?
Go Beavs!

I fish in the lower river around Lake Oswego. The fish can freely swim out to the Columbia. The upper river (above the falls in Oregon City) has sturgeon as well. I believe that they drop eggs to fry in the river. I have not fished it much but I have heard of sturgeon caught all the way up to where the Ling Tom dumps in. I did not attend OSU but I was a prof there for a while. Go Beavs. :)
