Hi All,

For a variety of reasons, I have not been out on my kayak a lot this year.  In fact, I haven't been on the salt this year at all.  The WX doesn't look great this weekend but I'm hoping things look better as we get closer.  At this point timbercove looks marginally better although the wind forecast isn't great (10-15 mph).  If anyone is interested please post.  It would be great to get out on the water again.

Hey Michael, was wondering what happened to you since you didn't reply to my PM's about the south-central zone opener. I'd go if conditions improve a little. If not, dare I say a quick run to PP on Sunday? Wind might be down in the morn.

hey, welcome back, Michael.   Long time, no sea.

Bill -  would love to join you SWS and have a repeat of our grand old time last trip, but have Saturday plans already.

Ted -  PP is mighty tempting, but....

Hi All,

Yeah, as I said before the WX is kind of iffy.  Unfortunately, I can't make Sunday so PP is out for me.  I am willing to do SWS though.  The swell report is not as good as Timbercove and the wind seems to be a bit worse, but if things are too bad we can always tuck into the cove.  I'm thinking about arriving at 5:30 or 6:00 AM Saturday for a 6:30 AM launch.  I'll check the WX again on Friday morning and post final plans then.

I'll be at SWS around 5:30 on Saturday.  Look forward to meeting more of you guys.  I only have till 9:00 but that should be more than enough time.

Hi All,

I was hoping for the WX to improve for tomorrow, but the wind still looks like 15+mph even in the morning so I'm calling this off.  I wish I could do Sunday, the wind appears to be reducing to below 10 mph.  Hopefully, some folks will be able to make it out on Sunday.  Unfortunately, my next opening is two weeks out :(.

I only live 10 minutes from SWS so I will still be there around 5:30 or 6 tomorrow if anyone wants to still try.

We have been in a crappy weather pattern for a while now and it's continuing. We are all Joneszing for sum salt, but be careful boyz. This wait only makes the salt taste sweeter.............. Hate to read about a brother in the papers.........
