Tip to keep your precious anchovies alive. #1 have an aerator. Wal mart sells really cheap ones called bubble box. #2 change 40-50% of your water once every 30 mins. U can easily do this with an empty water bottle. #3 dont over crowd your bait, they will run into each other, lose scales and suffocate on thier own scale. Hope this helps someone.

I've done this for a previous event (but I couldn't make it last year).  Some die and some survive.  They give you so much, so it doesn't matter...
I also heard the anchovy are good size this year too.

Please, count me in for a dozen too.
Thank you so much!

Naoaki

Looks like there's a lot of interest. I'll pick up as much as my cooler can hold w/out them dying and i guess first come first serve would be the rule. I'll try and get to ARW before 0630, tend to the chovies til 0730? And hit the waters then. Lets kick some butts!

I would like a dozen, but will they stay alive in my drag along bucket? Also, I don't think first come first served is a good idea. If I went ther wand you were already out I would have to leave to get bait and waste time. If you are  on the list you should get them. If any leftovers then first come.  My .02.

I'm in for a half dozen
Bait tubes work well once you're on the water. Al had a good design he posted a while back - based on tubes purchased at Tap Plastic.

I used to do some pier fishing and I have a cooler box rigged for live bait. I'd like to see if there's any interest from you guys because I'm planning to pick some up that Sunday morning. From past experience, 5-6 live chovies usually can keep one baited for the morning but you prob will need at least a 1 gal bucket with an aerator or holes+tied into water to keep them alive.

I'll take a dozen anchovies; thanks for sharing!!!!
