I'll be heading out of the SC harbor tomorrow morning if conditions permit. I'll plan to launch at dawn but I always say that and it rarely actually happens. Look for me on 69 if you decide to paddle out.

Cool. I'm planning to target halibut so I won't be going far.

So....I went down to the Seabright cliffs at 7:15 this morning. It was FAC. Didn't see anybody out. I just went down at 10am and the wind was starting to pick up a little bit. Nothing major yet but I was starting to see a little chop on the water. Hopefully this is an indication of what's to come tomorrow. If I get a few hours in I'll be happy.

Saw 3 yaks on the water at 10am. Maybe we'll get some feedback on the fishing. Hopefully the wind that blasted us yesterday evening didn't kill the bite.

I agree that the forecast does not look very good right now but it also didn't look good for this morning yet the conditions were totally fishable. If tomorrow, it looks anything like it does right now then I'll definitely be canceling but we'll see what the morning brings. I must admit that I'm pretty skeptical at this point.

For anybody planning to show up in the morning, just be prepared to call it if conditions are wacky.

Halibut are really tasty, but not tasty enough for me to brave the current conditions. Be smart  and know your limits.

I should have posted this last night but I won't be out there today. I tweeked my forearm helping my dad put a tranny in last night. I need to rest it today but I have a hall pass for Saturday. Hopefully I'll see some of you out there tomorrow.

Sorry for the late heads up.

Ya, it was pretty nasty out there yesterday. I went down there at like 8 am yesterday and it was already blowing pretty good. I must admit I feel a little bad for luring everybody out there then not going out myself.

Getting ready to walk out the door right now. Hopefully it's a little better today.
