Ocean's looking good for Saturday:

.SAT...S WINDS 5 TO 10 KT. SEAS W 4 TO 5 FT AT 11 SECONDS.

...but it looks like you're right about the rain - upgraded to "likely" from "chance of"...

.FRIDAY NIGHT AND SATURDAY...MOSTLY CLOUDY. RAIN LIKELY. LOWS 44 TO 54. HIGHS 57 TO 67. SOUTH WIND 5 TO 15 MPH.  .SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY NIGHT...MOSTLY CLOUDY. SLIGHT CHANCE OF RAIN. LOWS 45 TO 55. HIGHS 58 TO 68.  .MONDAY...RAIN. HIGHS 57 TO 67.

Glad I'm not camping!   :smt001  (Who needs sarcasm when you've got flat out smart ass tendencies?!   :smt003

If it wasn't 600 miles round trip I'd bring the motorhome. But at 7 mpg that option is out.

I was going to bring a tarp and poles to put over the tent to help, but a pop up would be cool if you don't mind. I could pick up at the meeting on Fri. Thanks

Hi All,
This just popped up on my FB page from News Channel 3, our local news station.  Thought it might be helpful info for anyone traveling 101 today.

FULL CLOSURE OF US-101, NORTH OF WILLITS DUE TO TRAFFIC COLLISION

via Garberville Area CHP:

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) has set up a full closure of US-101, north of Willits, due to a single vehicle property damage only traffic collision that caused power and data lines to block the roadway. Northbound and southbound traffic on US-101 is being diverted to Reynolds Highway. The CHP has estimated the duration of the closure to be six hours. The California Highway Patrol Garberville Area is investigating the traffic collision.
