5/24 Santa Cruz

I went down to the seabright cliffs this morning and it was soooooo doable. Not even a hint of wind. I'll be going out tomorrow morning if the conditions are similar.

Damn those forecasts that forecasted 20mph winds!  That's what I get for not taking the chance.  Thx for the local reporting!

Don't forget to check point and click for the 3hour window reports.  It may gust to 20 but not till the pm, afternoon wind is pretty common.   I also use an app called windfinder with real time reports for opal cliffs....its been pretty accurate so far.

thx for the Windfinder recommendation.  looks good.

btw, looks like the mild winds for only an hour according to Windfinder.  Looks like it's @ 14mph right now, and I'm sure it'll blow even harder later.  thx again.

You can also check the weather station at capitola boat and bait's website.  They have a wind meter hooked up to the internet, so reatime windspeed for the Capitola area!
