I am a neophyte to NCKA and didn't realize there were people looking out for the greater good of the members.  I'm glad you are there.  I had made a mental note on zingthing never to be in the same area as he.  I value life and relationships built on sober interactions.  NCKA has given me that.  It's been my experience that things get worse before they get better.  It brings to mind the song by Aerosmith, Amazing.  There is help for Mr. Zingthing when he wants it.

Dude I grew up in a hick ass blanco basura town myself so I'm not really judging as much as I'm speaking from my experience. 

I actually think racial humor is hilarious but it's better when it's self deprecating and it doesn't come across well on the internet. Much better with a couple brews and some good friends imho.

If Rich spent more time making fun of crackers and rednecks than his other jokes would be easier to take.

So your saying that because he is not asian or hispanic he can not or should not make jokes about them, and he must stay in the realm of his own ethnic background?

I agree that jokes on a forum can be interpreted differently then ones in person. There is a lot of mannerism in spoken language that gets lost when written.

Its pretty ignorant to say that if you are not part of a certain group then you should not make jokes at that group. If the rational is they might get offended, first cry me a river because there is more important things to worry about, second your on a forum... stop reading, you can be your own censor.

I support this decision. The people who have been banned in the past were annoying but not dangerous to be around. This was not only a detriment to NCKA, but resulted in one of our own being put in harms way. It was a no brainer. One of things I love about NCKA events is people bring their families. People need to consider the presence of children when making decisions about how much hard partying is OK. Eventually, it can step over the line for children and adults. Believe me I want people to have a good time and tolerate a lot, almost everything. The day people no longer feel comfortable bringing their families will be a sad day indeed. I wish Anthony the best and hope he can use this to make better decisions in the future.
