Has anyone installed a Scotty Trap-ease on their yak, and if yes where, and how well did it work? It seems like it would want to roll you over.
Thanks,

I installed some Scotty flush mounts toward the front of my Hobie Outback and use the Trap-ease during crabbing.  I was hauling up heavy pots with it and never felt like I was going to roll.  I love it.

Str8fishin, Thank you, do you have them on the sides, or more toward the middle?
Thanks again,
Jeff

I use one and love it.  I angle it forward and it really helps me pull the pots up when full.  I like being able to sit centered in the kayak and pull the trap up.  No rope rubbing the side of the kayak or leaning over to pull pots.  It cuts the effort in half.

I mount mine on the side of the yak as well.
