GS6 Group Camping Reminder...

Just a reminder for those camping in the group area, the deal is $20 per person per night.

Pay when you get there, smile and wave at Jack and the girls at the store and come on back and enjoy the madness and brotherhood. 

The past couple of years Jack has had some misgivings about everyone paying their share...

Just remember we are guests up there, and we want to make sure we keep on being welcome guests in the future.

I have volunteered to help Eric out with keeping Jack happy and making sure all of us are on the same page and that we all understand that if even one of us does not pay then it makes all of us look bad...and that just sucks.

Nuff said.

I have no desire to be a ranger, cop, or enforcer...I want to dive and fish and drink beer and eat ab gonads and balut! 

But I volunteered to take this off Eric's plate (he has a ton on it right now), so I will do my best to make Jack feel that everybody staying there has paid up and that we are all good. I will talk to him when I arrive there tomorrow and let him know that he can come talk to me if he has any concerns or wants info relayed to the group.

If you have any questions or concerns, post them up here, send me a PM, or come see me at the campground and have a beer. I will be up there by noon tomorrow, and will have a blue t15 and a green mini-x on top of my green Montero.

ps...also, remember no cleaning fish in the campground or bathrooms! There is a fish cleaning station right across the road!!

I'm staying in a nearby house I rented but plan on visiting and hangin' with friends who are camping with their RVs.  I figure the best way not to confuse a "visiter" with a camper is to park someplace away from the campground and walk in.  ?????

Good question Martin...

I would say yeah, the less non-paying cars in there the better...

But, Jack should know/needs to know that we will have people coming to visit/socialize that aren't staying at the campground, and in my mind that is all good as long as I can look him in the eye and say that everybody staying there is paying.

I will feel Jack out and if he has any info in regards to this he wants passed on to the group I can relay it Friday at the safety meeting...

In my opinion, it would be very easy to remedy the situation at the camp ground by handing out some sort of parking sticker to affix to the vehicles, like they do at other camp grounds.  There will be people coming in and out of the campground all weekend, and I think that's what makes Jack concerned that he doesn't know who has paid and who has not.

Yeah, but since he is charging by person instead of by vehicle, you could have a sticker on your car and have paid for 2 people, but actually have 4 with you I guess right?

I don't know the answer, but it's his campground and his rules, so we kinda need to just play his game...

That may be true Jim... If that is the case he should do arm bands instead.  Unless people that are not camping are not allowed in the campsite, then there isn't really a way to differentiate who is staying where.

Damn Brother Zilla's Showing Right F'n On...thought he was  a "no show"  The feasting will be Huge that Brother Is one Hell of a Cook...We need to find that mondo Ab like last yrs feast...man that fed like 20-30 peeps and do a repeat of the Crabsation we had going on
