I'm still on the fence, but it looks like the wind has not been laying down at night or early am, but the trend is decreasing at least

Being a workin'stiff I was planning on Ft. Ross on Saturday 6/2 with a few folks from here.  We'll see what Mother Nature has to say.

FYI from Caspar.
The wx on shore is perfect. Sunshine and zero wind.
At 6am this morning it was capping right outside the jaws.
Seas are really confused and just plain crappy conditions OTW.
I am sitting today out as far as fishing is concerned, might dive the south of the cove later.
I would not drive to fish conditions like this, but I'm on vacation and happened to be here anyway.
Going to make the best of it.

Just got off the phone with a friend that works at Flowers Winery, they are at the top of the hill directly above Fort Ross/TBC.
Winds are light, white caps out far. Apparently the winds blew hard yesterday and have been decreasing? Wind speed at the weather station they have at the top of the hill 7mph from 312-315. No visible fog this morning but might fill in tonight. Looks like a small morning window. I'll see everyone that ends up going in the morning. Roll call for yes's?

It's looking like I'm out as well.

My mom is sick and she was going to watch Derik tomorrow. I'd have to be back by 11:00AM and I can't justify heading out there to only be able to kick it for 2 hours.

Antonio and I will be out there to shore dive tomorrow.

Anybody have some advice on what general areas are productive, and for uni?

Peace!

too be honest jon i didn't see any uni , i would dive as far towards the point as you can , stay in close inside the cove then gradually make your way outside into deeper water15 to 20' until you find the abs everywhere. my buddy mike doesn't dive too deep but i got him to check out this 35' or so drop and he seen how much easier it was to limit out on meaty 8& 3/4 abs versus the abundant clicker abs in the shallows.
