Please, make sure to wear PFD!!!

this is a sad and chilling reminder how important it is to wear a pfd when kayaking...no matter how good swimmer you are.
be safe out on the water, folks!

My father died from drowning in the San Juaquin at marker 18-19  when I was 2 yrs old. 

I have mine on when the big motor is running or in the kayak. I have SOSuspenders on when I'm Bass fishing.

....and make sure it fits you properly 

And take a safety class.....
