Thanks to Eric and FW for another great event.  This series is always top notch. That was very cool of Hojoman to help with waivers and check in so Yakhopper could get in some time on the water.  Great seeing everyone!

Here is the trough shot of the winning fish.  Six pounds, twelve ounces, and twenty-two and an eighth inches.  Newborn status!

Good Times :yak, Good Weather :smt004, Great Friends :smt045!

Thanks Eric and F.W. for the first of this year's Yakhopper tourneys!

Naoaki and I showed up around 7am on Sunday and were about the last to launch.
Seemed like a light and somewhat slow bite, but fish were caught.
During the tourney I managed to avoid the skunk by landing a few dinks.
Missed a few good takedowns, and seemed to have lots of interest around my minnows.
Threw the Senko a bit for no bites, same with a small Kastmaster.

Fished until about 6pm after the tourney and was fortunate to land a PB LMB on my Crappie rod.
A big thanks to Auburntroutdude, who after tiring of landing a few 20"+ fish, allowed me to jump his spot.
Hojoman: thanks for the cool calendar bro!

A big congrats to the legend Patrick, Glen and Jim for landing some quality fish on game day!
It was great to fish with my NCKA family again, and I can hardly wait for this weekend's events at Berryessa.

Whenever something happens, always seems like Mooch is somehow involved. And his hammock was not affected
