Fished several bodies of water in the twelve days I was in Idaho from rivers to ponds lakes and irrigation ponds and caught several species of fish. Caught bass, bluegill, trout, catfish, carp and A few others......I fished the weiser river, snake river, salmon river, little salmon river, and A couple of local ponds..Kris and I slayed the catfish in A fast moving weiser river casting just A few feet in front of us. We caught several catfish one even had A whole gopher still intact in its bellie, was kinda gross. :smt009...We caught some trout and cooked over an open fire on the side of the river.., ive always wanted to do that!..The smoke from the hardwood we burned made the trout taste soooo good... Had A great time with my best little buddie cant wait to do it again.

Wow...love the way you cook those Trouts.  Thanks for the long distance report and pictures Andy.  Glad you had a great time there.

Nice job Andy. Nothing better than spending time catching fish with your son!  Can't wait till mine get a little older.
