I will check with Dan on when he thinks the suits will be in. It really all depends on when we get the 12 for the minimum order. Fishkraft, I will add your name.

Dumb question, this type of dry suit, is also good for diving, or just kayaking?

Just kayaking. Thanks for asking.

I will also let Dan chime in on the Gor-tex and other questions. He would be better suited to answer those questions.

I'd be real interested if they had an XXL King.  The XXXL has shorter sleeves, etc.

Never owned a dry suit before, but wouldn't it be worth it to get the gortex???? If ordered would they get here by GMS6??

A good article, from a dealer, on the issue of "Gore-Tex vs Tropos" for a drysuit:

http://www.kayakacademy.com/pages/store/tropos.html

I have talked to people who have tried both on multi-day sea-kayking trips, and all of them have said they prefer Gore Tex, by a wide margin, for the reasons this article states.

The Xl King is the suit for you. Let's get in touch these week and we can discuss details.

Sorry for the huge delay, I have been off the grid all weekend. Gor Tex vs T-3 suits. First off I will say the the T-3 is different than Tropos. Tropos is a single laminate. It is not very breathable and tended to de-lam pretty quickly. In the past few years Kokatat switched from Tropos to T-3 on all their base suits. The new T-3 is much more like Gor Tex in many ways. Its three layers of fabric fuzed together and then taped. It is not as breathable as Gor Tex and it will not last as long before needing to be send back in for repair. The breathability to me is the main reason to upgrade. Gor-Tex is second to NONE. IT simply lets your body regulate heat better than anything else on the market. The T-3 is still head and shoulders above its competitors in price, and breathability. Both Kokatat suits come will full Lifetime Warranties.

If you want more info on the materials give me a call. I have tons of experience with both fabrics and would be happy to help you decide what is best for you.

Cost on a Gor Tex Suits it. $930 with Logo for s-xl and with the NCKA Discount is going for $790. The XXL and XL King suit are $990 with Logo and $841 with NCKA discount. T-3 Angler suits are going for $522 with the group buy. We are almost at our 12 suits, and a few others have ordered custom Gor-Tex suits built to their specs. Kokatat allows you to pick colors, reflective strips, pockets, zipper coves and so much more on their Gor Suits. Another great reason to upgrade. There are cost associated with all the customizations but if you are only going to buy one suit might as well make it you own!

How many more T-3 suits do you need to place the group order.
