I had planned to head up north to Arcata (Trinidad) this weekend but the the swell looks a little high and windy. Looks like the same down south. I was wondering if anyone was going to OP for buts, or stripers. Or is that taboo before the derby? I've actually never been there so if anyone has even some advice that would be great.
thanks
tim

I'm hoping to launch there Sunday morning. Just checked Accuweather and it reports winds at 6-9MPH till about noon then the wind picks up even more.
Good luck to ya tomorrow.

Try in front of the pier to candlestick...
