So far it's:
1.Mooch
2.Squidder
3. Frankfishing
4. Yester
5. BabyManBen
6. MyWomanDiana
7. Desertdiver

Looks like we are expecting between 40 to 50 vets for this event. Could really use a bunch more help! Don't really want to turn these guys away so if you can help out please let me know. If we can't get enough volunteers then we'll make do with a smaller group of vets. So anyone who can please do!!!
Lake Natomas recreation is giving us 40 Kayaks for this event. Right now we have 4 Kayak guides but need a whole bunch more. Ideally if we could get 15 to 20 volunteers we could make this work. Thanks Frank

My buddy Steve said he may be able to come paddle around to help. He is no pro on the water, but has kayaked a few times. Not much of a fisherman, but can keep someone company and an eye on them. I'll make sure he has my radio. Not comfirmed yet, but will let you know when he  is. Bob may help too, but not on the water. he will just show if he can.

The Warrior Transition Unit does want to bring 40+ active duty wounded troops...

we would hate to disappoint and it's not really their fault or ours to the date, it's just how their schedule for that week of their " Muster..." rolls out...

The Good News here is another Non-Profit that we have been working with for 2 years has secured 40 kayaks and gear for the vets that are already at the lake...

So all we have to do, is get people to come help out OTW and the shore, ....

Guys I really would like this to happen but if not enough volunteers we'll have to pull the plug for safety. Wow to pass on GS6 is differently going the distance. I need to know soon if you can make it or not. Splashdown with you two that would give us a fighting chance. Sincere Thanks Frankfishing

AMAZING! Got a phone call from Raydon and he to is pulling the plug on GS6 to help out. Shicken and Raydon are making it hard to pull the plug on this event.
Talked to the transition SSG. Jones and the VFW will be supplying lunch. Estimated arrival time for them at this event will be 0800hrs. Having lunch served means we can concentrate our efforts on fishing,"YEAH"! Things are looking good for moving forward. Just need more fishing volunteers. Frankfishing

:smt010  Tears of Joy and Proud of ya...

Absolutely  Outstanding.....  Thanks

  Frank,

Excellent!!!   Strong Work with the VFW....

Don't forget Jeff S. from the Coast Guard I'm pretty sure he said he could help, I think that is only shore help, but ya might be able to talk to him about being on the water...

Trying to recruit a few out here at WCPR...
