My AI brethren,

Saturdays forecast is calling for winds 12 to 18 knots SSW becoming WNW

Obviously too windy to anchor up and fish.
I'm gonna go for a sail. Launching from sausalito at 9:30, and around angel island, maybe over to Alcatraz

What say you?

Steve,

Wish I could join you but I have to work.

Sounds like some real gutsy sailing!

That Angel Island to Alcatraz leg sounds "a bit" more challenging than what I'm doing inland  :smt005

Haven't had to deal with many ocean-going ships on Berry....

Good luck - great sailing

Why not wait until the outgo is cooking. That would be way more interesting. No sturgeon for you?

Sturgeon fer sure if the wind isn't doing what it is forecast to do up in SPB....

Friday Night: S wind 10 to 17 kt becoming W after midnight. Rain.

Saturday: W wind 10 to 12 kt becoming S in the morning.

10-12 Kt south wind? south wind + outgo in SPB....nasty nasty.  We'd end up being holed up along china camp to get sheltered from the wind, and the current there would make it pretty bumpy (remember that day?)
