Wind at the "triangle"

So the last few times we've made a run for the pumphouse from blackpoint, the wind has been awful.  Im going out in the 14 ft aluminum, still no yak.

And I know you guys go out there a decent amount.  So my question is besides getting an early jump, what is the best way or best site to find out when the winds wont be so bad?
