You do NOT want a T-11 for ocean fishing.

I am inclined to disagree with you Craig. As it depends a whole lot on environmental circumstances as well as where exactly you plan to fish.

I would agree that the T15 is a good ocean boat, but I would not completely rule out the T11 for the ocean for someone who is mindful of tides, drift, winds, distance, etc.

The point of my posts was not to advocate the use of a T11 in the ocean, it was more for comparing features of the Trident series.

Derrick A2h if the vote is still on the table I vote for the T13, for me I did not care for the T15 just did not fit me, this is way  demoing is so important. The only thing I did not like about the T13 was paddling with the wind, it was a pain just did not won't to go strait. So I installed a rudder and that was all the deference in the world, you don't have to use it but when you need it its there a lot like 4 wheel drive. Good luck on your search :smt006.

I've got a T13 with a rudder.  I'm about 6' 245# and friggin' love the thing.  Almost went with a 15, but super satisfied with the 13 and it's been a very dry ride thus far.  Taking her out for a camping trip in a few weeks up at Lake Sonoma and looking forward to taking advantage of all the storage in the boat.

You made a good choice.
