I will going up and camping this weekend no matter what. I hope it nice but if it's not at least I will be on the water. Can't wait to visit with you guys.

I'll at least be making a cameo on Sunday, ab opener isn't looking real good.  I need to be in Chico on Monday.  I might be there the whole weekend - I'll be the guy with the shotgun over one shoulder and the large gobbler in the other hand

Anyone know of any good turkey areas around there?  I think the west side of Trinity lake has some and I know a ton come out of the shingletown area but I'm looking more west side, make it a hunt, fish and chill

Umbrellas, rain suits, tarps, hurricane shelter
or some SoCal sunshine

Oh, you meant fishing tackle?
Trout/Kokanee stuff.
light action rod/reels
small spinners (meps or roostertails),
small Kastmasters,
 Threaded crawlers or plastic 3-4 in. Mad River worms
Dodgers are useful, Seps or Shasta Slingblade.

so it sounds like tad and ben are going to skip the camping and just fish sunday. Dan I know you guys rant going to get up here till saturday night, are you still going to camp? and what time are you going to be getting in?

Was hoping to swing by and say hello and get a few hours in on Sunday....and of course, if the wx looks good I will see you all out there...otherwise I am sure my wife would like me to scratch off some indoor honey to do's.

We will be heading out on Saturday after the store is closed. If it is raining we will be camping in Dans Parents RV.

Its raining here, and I still need to put my gear in my vehicle. It's one of those morning you just want to stay inside.

The Wx just finished with a good squall, 50+ winds woke me several times this a.m., I can see some blue skies to the west from my house right now. Need to play catch up today as I was on the road all week. The WX looks nice for Sun. so I better load my yak and take advantage of it.
Is there going to be a potluck Sun. afternoon or evening ?, what can I bring ?. The offer for firewood is still open, but I won't be there till Sun., if someone wants to swing by my house on Sat. you can load up on the firewood.

Pot Luck for sure Sunday after we get off the water. Mom is bringing her Dutch Oven and cooking up some cobbler. We will also have a BBQ going if you want to bring some meat to toss on.

See everyone in the morning, I'm going to load up at 7 and be out there around 830ish.
