switching between video and still pictures takes a little getting use to. when you first power the unit on (using the button on the front of the camera, it defaults to the video mode. I you want to shoot still images, push the front button again once, then use the top button to switch shooting modes. if you continue to push the top button, you will get to the setup mode, when you can change the setting parameters you are asking about.

depending on how computer savy your skills are, your best bet is to shoot in the highest video resolution available and then delace images you want from the video using the availble software on the market or from GoPro.

pm you number and I'll give you a call if you need more help...

In my opinion, thats a better unit for our purposes than the HeroHD2.

Doesnt use as much battery power and last LONGER than the newer unit..

Yeah, Call Chaeki :smt002  It's really odd instructions, but they work if you read and follow them.  Since Alfredo got me interested in time lapse photos I had to lookup how to set the settings.  But I cant for the life of me explain how to do them  :smt044

Three finger rule between back of housing and head....works perfect.  :smt003

When we get together Saturday I think I can compare your settings to the ones I have on mine and should be able to make them match?

However..all I know how to do is video...I never bothered figuring out how to take stills....

But for the videos I do, my settings work great!
