Fish-n-Chill @ Collins Lake March 24-25 CANCELLED See last post

Been wanting to do this for a couple years. Trophy plants every other week. 5lbs plus. That week is a stocking week. Bass are starting to get going now too. Did someone say Crappie too?

Plan is to camp in the open area right on the water. No need for wheels. Can reserve campsites if you want to with hookups. I never do that. Just on the shoreline is fine. Open fires in burn barrels is ok.

Who is in?

I have always thought that a underestimated lake. Should be fun. I'll Be there.

Sounds fun, but I'm going squirrel shooting in Bidwell the week-end before. I'll see if I can swing this, as well.

I will try and make this. Could get some WAF points since it is close to Tanya's sister  and that means I can spend more time on the water with the boys playing with their cousins!

Hummmm... 418mi round trip, 19mpg, ~100$ in gas alone.  I'll try and make it anyways

 Can you post a little more info on the lake?  When I look up Collins lake, on Google earth it shows me Virgina Ranch reservoir.

I don't know why it does that, but that is the place. Collinslake.com  Fishing should be good.

March is a busy month for me already, with April being SUPER BUSY. Ill try to be there.

I'll be there, Fri-Sun. This will be my first fish-n-chill hookup. First hookup period. This is gonna work out perfect. I have some friends up there that weekend doing some kind of corporate fishing tournament so now I won't have to fish alone, I can Fish-N-Chill now. See Ya.
