Ammo weight is a huge factor most people don't think about.  Ever try to carry a full ammo can?  And that's only like 500rds... 

Everyone not using .22's will be out of ammo, or too weighted down to effectively cover ground.

You need a two man team: on guy on an M1A... semi auto .308, good for all occasions.  Second man with a sawed off shotty and both with side arms.  Covers all ranges and rates of fire.

I have carried a full ammo can afterarafting rafting  trip once, but it wasnt full of ammo  :smt003
