Chris and I worked HARD and fished all over the narrows and towards the Dam. I was casting a small risto rapala (the discontinued one :smt011) towards a point when I hooked up momentarily and lost it. I trolled the area some more and managed to stick one - a healthy 16 incher rainbow. Chris trolled a shad rap and got one hit on it. The conditions were good - a little wind before noon and it eventually died down and the it got really hot. Lot's of boats on the lake - most I've seen in a while.
Lake was full and water is getting clear. Lot's of bait fish by the launch - Chris scooped a few with his net.

Pics to follow.....

Hey mooch sorry I coulnt make it next time try the south end trolling a broken back if you got one the trout have been favoring orange color for some reason. I saw some good action on the south end in the area known as the flats the bass are moving up and the trout like to cruise the fresh water moving in from the creek mouth.
The narrows have been off and on lately, I belive in to be because all the wildlife reconstruction they did in there has ruined a few of my favorite spots now the water is up.

Did you try by that fresh fall down just after the boat ramp in the narrows I picked up a smallie the a few days ago drop shot 25 feet of water.
Where did he go george

We never made our way South - just too many boats trolling the area. I went straight to the "go to" spot (you know where that is) and got my fish there  :smt002

I didn't even try fish for bass cause there were ton's of bass boats out there - hitting all the obvious structures. It would be nice to fish this lake on a weekday  :smt002 You're lucky you live so close!!
