Sweet ride!  What was the biggest factor that convinced you to go with the 4.3 instead of the 4.7?

I already have it :smt003

I have to admit that this is the yak that I have been waiting for from OK. I'm glad that the New Zealand guys stepped up to the plate and turned a good yak into a better one. And it may just take away my true love, loyalty and devotion to the classic Prowler 15  :smt045

I always thought that 4.7 was pretty cool, but a lil too big for my liking. But ever since OK introduced the new 4.3 Ultra, I've been drooling over it  :smt007

Awesome ride ya got there Eric, can't wait to read your reviews on this yak!

Sure glad they've done away with those silly flimsy side handles that smashes your fingers while topping the yak to load and unload.

Is there a reason why the origianl seat didn't transfer over like the one in New Zealand version?  You know the one like Necky Vector Kayak Seat.

Is it really only 59 lbs?

Just bought one myself with a rudder. Although I haven't used it yet (ya gotta ask SinCoast about how it rides  :smt001), but it really is 59lbs.

I've got a T13 w/ rudder as well, and I can totally notice the difference with the weight from the two even though the Ultra is an extra 7" longer. What's good about the Ultra is that the front/back weight distribution when carrying by yourself is fairly even, whereas the weight distribution of the T13 is toward the back. Having even front/back weight distribution makes carrying/loading yak much easier.
