1/29/2012 Crabfest at Doran (Report & pics)

Looks like everyone had a great time....crabbing, good people, good food, good times...what more can you ask for, right?  Wish I could have made it...definitely in for the next one!  Thanks for sharing pictures everyone.

Had a great time with everyone this weekend! From the old faces to the new ones, great times were being had by all    Sometimes I wish these events were more like a week long than just the weekend    What a great turn out! Food was just outrageous!  Andy even made it out on the water!  Hell, I even made it out on the water  too    Cant wait for the next event! 

Hummm... only 8 at a time now? 

Andie and I enjoyed Sunday's festivities, food and hanging out with everybody. Thank you and congrats to Victor for hosting a successful event.  Also, thank you to Dan, Headwaters and all the other sponsors for donating prizes. Lastly, thank you to all of our NCKA brothers and sisters for being a great group of people.

I look forward to doing it again next year.

Another great NCKA hookup!  Thanks Victor and his wife for their hard works, all the sponsors for their donations, and Dan for letting me try out the Swift paddle which I like so much I bought one after tried it out.  Wish we have prize for the smallest crab! 
 

More food 

Like Mooch said, what really made this event was all the participants. Thanks to everyone and their families for showing up.

Crabfest was a blast!
The company was great and the food was incredible!
I even got out OTW for about 1.5 hrs!
Next time I'll really try to trap some crab.

Crabfest was fun. Is this the first event with fishing and touring kayakers together? Cool, met some nice people who go kayaking without a rod?????
