here is a great example of a boiler - this was taken at Stillwater North - as you can see, to Chuck's left is a boiler - exposing itself when a swell goes on top of it. We had to keep our eyes open on this particular one because we were drifting right to it. And every time we got closer to it, the bite got hot. But without the whitecap or swell breaking over it, we could not see where it was  :smt011 THis is a good time to have a FF or even better, a GPS :smt045

Yeah, newbies should stay well away from boilers... and any other rock formation for that matter :) !

Nice try Mooch, telling the newbies to stay away from the good fishing spots.  We don't want another newbie to win again this year.

Count me in. I missed the good times last year.
If you pay for a boat launch you can camp in the trailer parking lot.
Kind of like tailgating but it is just across the street from the launch site.

Hey Bob - I may just join you at the parking lot "camp site" at the Princeton Harbor (I'll bring my BBQ Grill) . I was thinking of camping at the HMB State Beach but it just makes more sense to camp right next to the launch spot  :smt002

I live close enough but I always enjoy camping out  :camp

What??? Did someone say PBR's? :beer3

I remember last year, that guy that was in the wrong place at the right time at HMB.  Man,  :smt012 that was ugly.  I've never seen a rock so sharp pierce plastic and then the way it impaled him,  :smt103  scary!!!  Thanks again Mooch for warning me about those spots.  :smt023  JTF..

Hello People,

Can you please tell me if camping reservations are required or recommended?  And if so, whom do I call?  And what are the camping facilities like?  I've never been to HMB.

Thanks much, Sean

Hey everyone I should point out that if you plan on coming you should sign up online. Paying online is $20, paying onsite is $25.

Who are the sponsors for this tournament?

I did this last year and really had a great time.  My try to swing a red eye trip up there again.
