Scotty Thread mount

Any one tried one of these?

Looks alot less obtrusive then the square bracket.  I'd put a backing brace backside to try and prevent flex while trolling but it looks good. 

I like it too - I'll be using those when I upgrade my Prowler - if and when Ocean Kayak finally comes through with a winner 

I've been thinking about getting one too.  It's way more suitable for most kayaks... plus the bottom is already sealed too.

I've been trying to figure out a way to mount a scotty holder on one of our sik. I don't like the other flush mounts and the standard would stick out too far. I think this one should work. I ordered one to give it a try.
I also ordered the self-inflating seat cushion for my bony old rump.
