If you guys are going to buy the Alabama rig you might want to look at your local tackle shop ,i ordered two off line and paid  $14 bucks a piece ,i dont remember if i paid shipping or not,a few days later i was in the local shop and they had the exact same one i bought for 11 bucks,support your local tackle shop if you can,

Spoke with a DFG friend of mine who told me to look up the regulations.  I didn't get into the specific regulations, but the video below talks about a hook per lure regulation:

Anyone hear differently?  I'd prefer to put hooks all over that thing if I was going to use it.  Having 3 outta 5 doesn't sound as sexy.

Generally only 3 of the 5 are hooked in CA.  I believe CA does cap it at 3.  Not sure if that applies to Salt as well as Fresh?  Anyone know?  I think there is a local maker of these umbrella rigs called ABT Lures up near Lake Don Pedro.  Again, support you're local folks.
