You guys are killing me.  Looks like the weather is holding through the weekend though, so I promised the boys I'd take them on my next outing.  Will likely be launching the Whaler from Oak Bottom around 11 Saturday.

Good luck Ben, hope you guys catch a boat load  :smt044
Looking at the wind blowing out of the north has me concerned as to where to fish. I read that they are getting some Salmon @ centimudi but that is not the place to be with a north wind.  :smt011
Have you ever fished @ Packers bay ?, looks protected from the north.

I've fished Packers quite a bit, really nice launch that gets little attention.  During the summer that's where I normally go just to avoid the crowds.  The wind can hit it depending on direction, kind of a toilet bowl effect, but would certainly be better than down at the dam.  Salmon do stack up there as well, this time of year it'd be my second choice to the dam.

My new seat just arrived, and I picked up a quiver of nice Shimano combos (craigslist score!), itchin to get out there!  I saw the salmon report over on MOB too, hopefully this year the bite will be better than last.

Hey Jeff, welcome back, I was going to try a new spot @ Shasta, but we can do Whiskeytown if you like.

I'm up for Shasta, where can I get a day pass? And what do I need to bring for salmon?
