In advance, forgive me for being newbie. Someone asked me if he could join if his boat is a canoe. LMK

Unfortunetly, only man-powered kayaks are acceptable for this tournament. Personally, i think canoes are border line with kayaks but then if one was let in, then others would probably ask why not bass buggies or floattubes then! That would defeat the purpose of it being a kayak tournament and club then!

Hey, why not ask him to use a kayak instead?  I'll bet someone can bring an extra for him to try out  :smt002

Valid point, the tournament should stick for kayaks only. Nice to know that someone is willing to lend the kayak to my buddy. I already emailed him about it. Thank you.

The main reason, I asked for the plan on Saturday is because I have lots of fishing rods/tackles for kids. I am thinking why not I bring them over with some catfish baits where kids can borrow to fish by the bank in the evening. Will anybody bring the family along to this event? Something to keep kids busy and remember NCKA.  :smt003

I will have a couple extra sit on tops that I will be bringing with me courtesy of Adventure Sports.  If anyone is in need of a kayak for themselves or a friend, please let me know.  I will be there on Sunday morning bright and early.

Unfortunately I can't make it.  I'll be taking my BSA Troop out kayaking on Monterey Bay that weekend.

:smt103 I think I want to borrow all of your kayaks and try to paddle all kayaks simultaneously. Do you think this will help me to win the tournament??  :smt003 Thanks man! I think my buddy will let me know when time is near.
