YOU SHOULD GO MAN! haha this will be a great trip I dont know of any charters but following the thread I heard its a great shore fishing spot for lings rockfish and perch also there might be a few ppl out there shore fishing.

Yep, actually opens this Saturday (7th) at the Cove.

But only until April 30.  Rumor has it that the PFMC has agreed to May 1 opening for this summer - they should announce today or tomorrow, they have been meeting all this week.  We should know in a matter of a few hours but all indications are yes, we will be fishing for salmon.

I'd like to trade some saltwater flies for a home made ab iron & gauge. Leaf spring steel would be very cool for the iron, aluminum for the gauge would be good. Any interest?
