Mooch, im nonplussed.

You will drive over 160 miles in horrendous weather to fish in miserable freezing Stormtrooper conditions.  Yet you cite discomfort and inconvenience when invited to a HAC noodle shindig (convened in your honor, btw) practically around the corner from your house?!?!   :smt044

Anyway, love to join but i have another commitment up north.  Have a good un

..I would have loved to join you guys on the noodling shindig but try spending a few nights at Seton's 10th floor (that where they keep cancer patients - some terminal) ...you can hear shear pain from med side effects and patients even trying to "escape". I would hate to be a nurse on that floor  :smt011 :smt011

..believe me brother, I needed to catch up on a lot of sleep  :smt045

Super stoked to hear you've got the juice to get out now.  :smt006

How old is your nephew?  I have been trying to spend some time with one of my young cousins who's mom lives out here but dad lives in Massachusetts.  Kind of a latch key kid who eats crappy food and hardly gets any physical activity.  Hence he's sort of a butterball.  New Years eve, i took him on a paddle around alcatraz and he loved it.  OFB FNC is a exactly the kind of event I'd like to take him to, just like you are taking your young'un.  If they are the same age, maybe they can be yakking buddies.

Stay perky, Mooch

Looks like we'll earn our badges on Saturday. Cold, wet, and windy.

Sunday looks like it's shaping up to be a fairly decent day.
