I'm trying to do this from my phone, so this might not work right now. If it doesn't, I'll fix it tomorrow. I know some people have mixed feelings about Amador, myself included, there is a lot of hype behind the place, but if you hit it when it's "on", it's great. If you hit it when it's "off" like I usually do, it sucks! Anyhow, I thought I'd share this really good video of how to catch fish at Amador. It's from a bankie perspective, and the real info doesn't start till over 4 minutes into the video, but it's worth the watch.

Some good tips Jeff, with only 4 choices of bait / lures he has it covered.
2 weeks ago when I got skunked @ Shasta, a bankie told me a guy picked up a limit of trout at the launch ramp using the bubble / black fly combo. The video does not go into the retrieve of the fly though. I guess you just have to experiment.
Remember to practice safe knots, because big fish don't just break your line, they also break your heart.

Hey Dennis, long time no see! That's not me or my video, just something I came across while being lost in YouTube.
