Anyone else down? This has been one of my greatest RF fishing years since I first started yak fishing in '02, and I'd love to end it with a two day fish and chill. Fish Wednesday, camp, and fish Thursday.

The only problem I have with the WX for the next week is the 8' West swell, but Allan and Gino reported that it was bumpy today, but the launch/landing were OK. That is all I needed to hear.

It's supposed to rain on and off for the rest of the week, but WX is calling for light winds. If we could wrangle up an EZ-Up or two, that would be sweet.

I think Kiel is down. Anyone else?

No way to get a trailer down to TC. If you wanted to bring the rig, I'm down to camp at salt point, or gerstle if either are still open for camping.

OK. I'm going tomorrow and camping tomorrow night. That way I get to chill with the crew on Wednesday and hopefully see some Screws on Thursday.

Hi Rock hopper
sounds like fun.  My wife really would like to go. I have a 20ft  tandem Northstar wilderness system kayak.  do you think I can launch at TC?  Have you stayed at any local motel/hotel around there you could recommend.
Cheers
Ken Jan

There is a few lodges in the area, but I've never stayed at any of them before. They're probably all super expensive.

Also, I'm not sure I would try to launch a big tandem in these conditions....and if my girl wasn't pretty hard core I definitely would not take her in these conditions.
