My pacific halibut was exactly what I was targeting, not bycatch.  If you want to target Pacific halibut send me a pm sometime, but be prepared to paddle out 2-4 miles.  My goal is a pacific halibut at 60" so I finally can use my harpoon.

Just a few points.

AOTY 2011 will be locked down shortly, so if you have any entries from before the new year, please enter them so we can finalize the results.  We will do a review of the top finishers before declaring the official results.

For those of you that are new to the game in 2012, if you haven't already done so, you need to signup at the aoty site at http://aoty.ncka.org/signup.  The user database there is separate from the main one here.  Please try to use the same login name that you use here here and the email that you paid with so it makes is easier for me to figure out who is who and enable your account.  If you've participated in previous years, you already have an account.  We'll get all the accounts enabled shortly, so don't worry if you have a fish to enter and it's not enabled yet.  It'll count.

Good luck to all in AOTY 2012. Enjoy the ride!  With the increases in scores for rockfish, cabezon, catfish, SMB, trout, sturgeon, perch and panfish, there is the potential for some big annual scores if you guys get after it!    :smt006

Made an attempt to boost that total. Tried 2 different locations for nada.
I need to get what I can now. I may have to take a break mid way through only to hopefully finish somewhat respectable.
