We had some issues today.  We're only partly back up, but we are active.  We may go up and down for the next couple days, as we upgrade some stuff.

Allen, my AVG anti virus software identified a threat from the site and blocked access for a couple of hours.  I was still able to get in on my iPad with Tap a Talk when this happened.  Things appear to be normal now.

No problem accessing from a Mac computer here at home, but earlier my work computer got shut down due to a virus it picked up when I accessed the site. So, I had to head home early on a Friday  :smt044

I guess I'm naive but why would someone hack a site like NCKA?  What's to be gained?  I can understand hacking sites for financial gain but this makes no sense to me.  Is it just random malicious mischief?

Actually I think it was a script piggybacking on a URL search that got in through another site we host on the server.  That site had old old old software running.  We should be all plugged up now.  But we're not yet back to normal.  That will take a little more work.  Grrrr ....

Not really targeted at NCKA, its just because of the challenge, and finding old loop holes in older systems.

Seems my ' Who's online' isn't working either.

Can you give me a little more info?  I'd like to debug this more.  It works for me and my test accounts.

What happens when you try to see who's online?  What OS?  What version?  What browser?  What version?

Can you try clearing your cookies then checking who's online?  Did that help?
