My biggest fear would to be on the water with a code brown eminent.  :smt009

While diving yes I pee, it is SCUHA the Self Contained Underwater Heating Apparatus, on the kayak I use a relief zipper.  I wouldn't want a relief zipper on my dive suit.  There are hungry fish out there.  If they will slurp up a 4oz jig......well.....

As for stewing in my pee, it is likely cleaner than the water washing into the bays!  My dad runs a waste water treatment plant.  The water they pump out is cleaner than the water already in the river.

Relief zipper on the water, wetsuit in.

Out of the bike shorts when it is dry out(usually I stop first),  in the shorts when it is raining( no stopping)

That felt GOOD to get out

I tend to consume a few beers on the kayak and so it does make it difficult to get relief without  wetting ones self.  It does put a smile on my face knowing that the person who stole all my gear last Monday will be getting a wetsuit that should have some fresh pee in it. It is the little things that make this experience feel better. If anyone sees a brand new Elite 5 Lowrance Fish finder without a tranducer , 2 marine radios kayak life vest Orange and many other things PM me or call the cops. ( not that they'll probably do anything but I will :smt044.

Only in an extreme emergency. I've the "golden arch" thing before, but the "special bottle" is a lot easier. If there's bull kelp available I like the Guitarzan kelp-funnel method.

Using the paddle blade is a good trick! I'll try it if the need arises.

I NEVER pee in my wetsuit.  I just cant bring myself to do it.  If I have to pee while diving I'll pull myself up on a rock and strip halfway down and take a piss.  I've pee'd on that island at SWS a bunch of times!  I just couldn't have a good time knowing I'm marinating in piss!   :smt087

That's why they call it a WET suit !       It gives you a warm feeling , but nobody notices.
Just relax and enjoy it... jeez , it's only recycled coffee ( or beer )      :smt044 :smt044

I'm referring to diving of course.         In a kayak,  ferchristsake,,,  drop you pants.

Peeing in an open cell dive suit sucks-- there's essentially no water movement, so it just sits there the whole time. And you can never quite get the smell out of it after that. I usually dive 4-6 hours, sometimes even longer, so I don't have much of a choice.

When I'm yak fishing, I'll just peel down my farmer john and go off the side of the yak on my knees.

Man, that had me rolling, dude.

I've never pissed in a wetsuit...not even when I used to SCUBA dive.

That is the one thing that sucked the most about fishing in waders...HELLA hard to take a leak, especially in unfavorable conditions.

Now I just use the relief zipper of my drysuit.

Back in my surfing days at Morro Bay the peeter heater was in full effect...anymore my time on the water is above the surface, so the relief zipper and a scupper hole are all I need.  Just watch the aim, the scupper and an open beer can are only a few inches apart and trust me, you don't want to lose your target!
