I'll bet they still don't allow wild horses to be slaughtered for food.
So I'm packing my bags for the Misty Mountains, where the spirits go...........

When I lived in Hungary we ate horse meat all the time.  There is nothing like Hungarian horse sausage and a spicy Szeged paprika between two slices of bread.

Live your life, the way you want to be remembered. Don't have any regrets, we only get this one dance to make it count. Start at your eulogy, and work backwards.

We acually had a horse meat market here in Santa Cruz in the mid to late 60's. It was where Cole's BBQ on Portola dr. is now
My Mom and I stopped there one time and tried a burger and some sausage. It wasn't bad at all from what I remember as a young lad. Needless to say, it didn't stay open long. Less than a year I think. Horse meat never caught on. I think if they did it again here, the place would get burned down....or Occupied...lol
