Exactly.  All my family is back in South Africa, so its an inexpensive way to stay in touch with them, and the people I went to HS with.
I think its neat...

I only somewhat agree on this one.....I downloaded the latest update for my I Heart Radio app and it doesn't work without a facebook account.  I was soooo pissed, no more Island Reggae Morning show   :smt013

There are kayak fishermen and women all over the world. Im on FB and I think its pretty cool to see whose catching and pics from say Scotland, Africa, New Zealand, east coast,  south,  Florida. Its not a bad thing at all. The app for reminding me when birthdays are of family and friends is cool too.

NCKA has a "group" on facebook.  However, facebook is changing around how they do groups and the old group is scheduled to be archived.  I've created a new "page" for NorCal Kayak Anglers on facebook.  Please "like" is at https://www.facebook.com/pages/NorCal-Kayak-Anglers/263770443669839 .  Thanks.
