Anyone up for Pigeon Pt on Sat 11/12?

Forecasts for swell/wind look not too bad for this area. Wondering if there's anyone else interested?

Tempting to drop a crab trap and go fishing but I think I'll focus on crabs until the commercial season starts.

How did you do the day Flyaker and I went in early? That was the day with the big tide swing coming when we went in. I kept a 30" ling and a big black for the short trip. You guys got me hooked, I'm putting together a beater 10wt setup with flyakers input to target lings.

Right after you left I landed a big black (~4 lbs, which I kept), then a smaller black later near shore, and a ling ~24" also near shore that I threw back. All on a darkish, multi-colored clouser tied to imitate a baby rockfish. All in all a fairly slow day, as I think we all experienced. We'll see if I get out there this weekend - forecast is not looking so good now. May switch to SWS or the Delta.

I'll check the reports again in the early AM, but it looks like I'm going to the Delta. Winds are just not letting up, and swells too. Probably going to launch at Sherman is
