I usually wear my neoprenes but it isn't essential.  I just like to stay dry.  You can wear a farmer john or rain pants.  You need to lie down on the wet sand to get to the clams so lower body and chest protection is nice but not absolutely necessary.

I'm in.  Exactly when and were do we meet?

What do we need to bring?....... bottomless 5 gal bucket, clam shovel, etc.?

Do we need our kayaks?

The weather should be nice.

You will need your kayak, a standard garden variety shovel,a 5 gal bucket or "goody bag" to put your clams in, fishing license (obviously), some type of rain gear, wetsuit or neoprenes if you want to stay dry, and I think that is it.  I have some pvc tubes to use for digging.  They are about 3 ft. long and 14 -18 inches across.  You can borrow one if you need one.  Oh, don't forget to bring beer  :smt007.  It should be a good time.  Best place to meet is in front of the little store inside Lawson's Landing.  I believe it is $7 bucks to get in there now for day use.  Give me a call tonight if you have any questions.  707-542-6706.

Doh, I forgot to put the time.  It would be good to be out there about 10 so we can get our crap together and get down to the clamming island by 10:30.
