hello folks, can you tell me where to go to get to the brisbane tubes? i know where brisbane is off 101 but dont know where the tubes are. also can you tell me a good place to launch and park?

I forgot the name of the exit but I know it's by the Tsing Tao buliding. You park there and there's a paved trail that leads to a beach on the Hwy 101 side (bring your wheels). The Tubes are clearly visible once you paddle along Hwy 101  - I'd say about half a mile from where you launch.

I'm sure Jason /jselli can give you the name of the exit. Just send him a PM if he does not chime in to this post.

If you have Google Earth try to load this attachment. Then look at the Brisbane tubes launch(s)

Let me know if it works, I have not tried this before.

Cool!

So launch #1 is where you park, if the tide is up you can put in right there on the breakwall. Depending on how you feel about pulling your yak over iceplant. Easier launch is spot #2 but you have to cart it down the path.
