This will be my first outing here at Pigeon point, is the launch pretty easy for a newb! I dont mind practicing self rescue!! :smt002 also what is the target fish?? and please post or pm me the meeting spot thanks in advance.

The launch is super easy unlike Bean hollow. You should get out fairly easy. Target fish at pigeon point tend to be RF, Lings and if you go south halibut along the beaches. Stay safe cause there is one SUPER BIG fish that i've been trying to avoid that lives in that area.

The elephant in the room has finally been recognized, especially for those new to the area. Best wishes and hope to see an awesome report.

I'm out, Fishingaddict reminded me that the Pumpkin Festival in HMB is this weekend. If you have to drive through HMB you should probably scratch.

We're heading to SWS on Sat, company welcome.

Im out too guys, cant be stuck in traffic and missed the wedding in the afternoon. Was really looking forward to fishing with you all but just dont want to take a chance being late( when you have 4 kids and a dog there is a lot of preaparations to make just to attend an event or just for dinner with the wifey)

Hmm... that would definitely suck to be stuck in traffic.  I know there a few people who were short on time, if they are going to bail, then I will go down to SWS as well.

Still haven't heard from darius, mcag or ty yet.  Waiting on responses to see who still wants to go to PP based on the heavy traffic that might occur in HMB and Highway 1 due to the Pumpkin Festival.  I'm heavily leaning against PP because that traffic can be really bad.

I fished PP last year and hit the Pumpkin Festival traffic, pretty bad.  Expect at least a 2 hour delay on the way home.
I swore never again.  Golfish and I are carpooling to SWS and should be there between 7 to 7:30 AM.

What about taking the 84 to the 280 instead of taking the 92? Its a little longer but no traffic I would think. Im thinking of heading to PP on monday if any one is free.

PF is the entire weekend, you could go 84 on the way back like chumchum said, slow and curvy but better than sitting in traffic...there is also a high probability if Darius goes 84 there will be  :pukel:    :smt044

Might be up for a SWS trip tomorrow!  May still be hungover though  :smt044  Whats the deal with parking?  Mike was saying they wouldn't let him or BigJim down to the beach after 11am?
