Okay, I wussed out.  Something about gale force winds at the Monterey buoy made it hard to ignore the trees in my yard getting all beat up by the inland version of the wind.......... :smt009

But, I reconnoitered the area during lunch………..

At 12:30 Moss was doable.  5 foot? swell.  No breaking waves in the jaws.

1pm, Del Monte beach was a lake!  I could see two boats out in 240-300 feet of water off of soldier's club.

1:30 Lover's was launchable.  The boats were still out.  The sun came out for a few.  I saw another party boat headed out to join the other two boats. ......then the rain started.... :smt102

That was the good news.

The bad news was that bird action was really really light.  And ship-to-shore radio, which allows me to listen to the boats in the bay is as quiet as night time.

Saltwater is the cure for everything that ails us,
sweat, tear or the sea.
