Without a date it's worth a buck maybe. If it's a rare one maybe 150.

Hey Mooch, I have been an American and German (pre WWI) coin collector for years. There is a product called Nic-A-Date that you can buy. Place a bit of this on the area where the date was, and you should see the outline start to appear. There is a secondary market for Nic-A-Date Buffs if it turns out to be a key date. Wont get as much as a coin that already had the date visible, but there is still a premium!

If you find this stuff interesting, a fun passtime on a rainy day is to grab a box of nickels at the bank ($100.00 worth), and then go through the rolls and pull out all of the buffalos and silver war nickels. I have pulled upwards of 10 buffalos from one box, and as much as 6 war nickels. When you are done, you just roll the nickels back up and take em to the bank. Each buff or war nickel only costs...well... 5 cents  :smt002

I would call your local coin or jewlery store. They have bezels for different sized coins that you could fit it in. Usually comes in silver or gold.

Or you can do a wire wrap like they do with crystals use a little superglue to start and you should be good!  I have many rare coins and bills I am saving them to give to my boy so someday maby he can cash them in or pass them down!
Live life to the fullest!!!! Make the best of each and every day!!
