Remember no ground fires at Tiki...

BBQ grills are okay if they are 18" above the ground...

my new name should be Ostridge. Got my head in the sand. Going fishing and letting go of the other stuff I can't control anyway!

I thought we didn't need to reserve. Just show up and pay. Was that not correct?

Maybe I'll just call later anyway.

I started kayak fishing to get away from most of you...

I called 2 days ago and she told me just to show up. They reserved a whole block of sites. She would not take my reservation. I hope this is correct.

Ben,
If I have room you can park in my area. Novofish is crashing in my MH. He is bringing his car to get there, so not sure how much room there will be. I say show up and see who has room. Should be no problem.

Just talked with Linda,
She has reserved the whole camp for our group :smt002
Show up and pay.
Don't need to bunch up ... if you are there, you are with us :smt003

FWIW,
Linda has been very good to us over the last 4 years.
It would help her out a lot if everyone claimed their own spot and paid their share. Packing more than 2 cars to a site will only short change her and leave a bad taste for future events.

Thanks for the cooperation,
Eric / Yakhopper

My office is on W. Charter near I5, about 10 minutes away from Tiki. I made a run by there to check out the campground and RV spots. They have made a few changes. The trees in the old camp and picnic area have been removed. The campground is now across the street. It's a grassy, group type campground with parking along two sides of the perimeter.
I didn't see any restrooms in the campground, but there is one across the street. There's a group camping there this weekend. Some of the trailers in the RV park look like long term residents.

Anybody who grew up on the delta knew those as Striper weeds.
They always show up during the Striper run ... Looks like a good sign
Only downfall will be when the start to spray (usually Nov.) for weed controll ... puts the fish off the bite.
Tip #1
When you get into a good school of those 12" to 20" look to the bottom for the better quality :smt002

See Ya There,
