Eric, do we all have to launch at Tiki? Parking gets kinda tight there. Sounds like it could be a total clustercuss. Are we free to sign waiver, launch at nearby locations and just be back at Tiki for weigh-in?  Rob

I think that could give an unfair advantage to someone. I would like to sign in. Then drive to the place I would like to fish instead of paddling 4 miles, but do not think that would be fair.

Based on past events, all participants launch from the same location; in this case, from Tiki Lagun.

But we'll wait for Yakhopper to chime in for the final word on this issue...

It seems most will be camping so the parking should be worked out by Sunday ( I hope ) I will say we all should launch from the Tiki ramp so as to keep it as fair as possible.

I hear ya, but keep in mind this is a single boat ramp so there will be pb-ers expecting to launch too I'd suspect. Imagine waiting for a 100 yaks to launch. I had RBC in mind and "nearby" when I posted the suggestion where we had options due to concentration concerns, but Eric has spoken so we will obey  :worship

Not too many pb'ers waiting in line at 6:30 in the morrning to launch. This is not a busy destination at this time of year. Hell I'll be waiting in the water for the start time.

Nice thing about a kayak, is you can move it around easily. Should be ok to give a boat or ten room if they show up. Show some love!  :smt007 They might be the next NCKA member!

Prepare to be amazed at the friendliness, support, and food, you are about to embark on! Fishing for things other people can only dream about! Not sure where you are from, but I am sure you will bring some good fishing ideas to the group. Welcome!

For those coming from the Bay area and looking for live minnows get off at Grantline in Tracy -turn right and then right into the first gas station. Their store usually sells minnows
