I'm headed to Bishop for a few days and I need some recommendations on where to go and where to put in.  Any guidance would be much appreciated.

Depends on if your bringing the yak and how much you want to hike I enjoy heading up towards south lake and north lake have had a blast up there always.
The river can be fun as well. You cant go wrong really everything is stocked pretty regularly and this late in the season try dark colors oranges and browns.

If your into hunting it should still be good for quail that early in the season.

Thanks again for the tips.  Ends up I only had one day to fish so I hit up Crowley and upper Owens right below the power plant.  Both were awesome.  Thanks sooo much.  Also on the way back to Sacramento I hit the walker river in Bridgeport and the river right by Devil's Postpile.
