New here, been reading for a while, thought I'd chirp up and say hello.

I've lived in Monterey for about 15 years and have been out in the bay a dozen or so times on my Ocean Kayak Caper that I bought this year from a friend. I already installed a couple of flush mount pole holders, paddle clips, and a Scotty rod holder to it. Just finished my latest project, turning the permanently attached milk crate with rod holders my friend put on, into a quickly removable item. I find rigging it up and building things for it (PVC dolly) as much fun as taking it out fishing.

I've been out of Stillwater and MBK but mostly go out from Coral street, but since I have no pictures to post I guess I've never caught any fish... none that I've felt were worthy anyway, still waiting for my first ling.

Anyway I look forward to exploring new areas, fishing new gear, catching new species, and especially meeting new people.

Welcome aboard abilectic. If you want to catch some lings, there's plenty to be had
this weekend if you can make it to the RBC. Of course you'll have to find those lings first. :smt003 Looking forward to fishing with you bro.
